It is unknown whether she was cured or not, but Shiatsu has many special benefits. It is usually practiced low to the ground and even on the ground with a small cushion for comfort. Fingers and Palm are the primary methods used for this therapy and it can help with digestion problems, High blood pressure, migraine headaches and much more. Shiatsu has roots in Zen Meditation because it is said that whoever practices Shiatsu should also practice Zen Mediation.
